Making a trading card - a task that took perseverance

Today I made a trading card.  And I apologize for the bad screen capture, but there is a story involved.  The link to create your own trading card is here if you want to give it a try.
Making this trading card took me three hours.  It was so frustrating having to follow the character limit with the task at hand.  I would have to go back and keep re-wording my work so it made sense.  Finally, when I finished the card, I told the site to email it to me.  It never did.  Luckily, I took this screen shot so everyone could at least see it!  I think I need to keep playing with this website to find out all the tricks.
Please let me know if you have ever used this site before, or if you have a better site to make cards like these.
Thanks for following my learning journey,
Klaasje

Mind-maps - Organizing my thoughts about my Personal Learning Network (PLN)

Today, I organized my personal learning network (PLN) into a mind-map using Mindomo.  It shows the social networks I use and the educational tools I use, and my target audience when I do so.  In case you are wondering, a PLN is a connection. It is talking about a common topic or idea for a long period with the same group. It could be in in your own school or community or with people in any location.  As an educator, a person can learn from connecting with others around the globe.  As a classmate posted on our Linoit board, PLN allows professionals to share ideas and resources, collaboration, and learning.Give Mindmoda a try for concept mapping, it is great!
Happy learning,Klaasje
