Cacoo - A learning activity I was not so fond of
Cacoo is interesting, but was not my favourite tool that we have used in this class. Cacoo is a mind-mapping tool and allows the user to put bubbles or shapes on the screen and then text in the bubbles. I found that Cacoo lags in time and was slow to use, which was frustrating. Also, it seemed exactly like a feature available in Microsoft word. A positive about Cacoo was that other members of a project could work from anywhere in the world in real-time.
I do not see myself using Cacoo, but I wonder what sort of scenarios people would use Cacoo for. Please let me know if you have experience with the product and what you use it for!
Thanks for following me on my journey,
Klaasje

Hi, we also have a diagramming tool called Creately which you can use to draw mind maps, flowcharts, Venn diagrams, KWL charts, concept maps and many other diagrams useful in the classroom.
ReplyDeleteSure you can do all this in MS Word but our innovative features like 1-click create makes it extremely faster to draw them online. Do give us a try and I hope you like it more than Cacoo.
